Spray dryer WPC80 concentrate and skimmed milk

In this project, the customer was limited in the maximum building height due to legal regulations. In order to be able to build an installation, it was decided to build part of the installation in an eight-meter-deep pit. Our engineers have adapted the spray drying system to this.
The installation is intended for the infant formula market and therefore five high efficiencycyclones have been used in the design.
Another challenge with this project is the extreme difference in residence time of both products. By using our adjustable air distributor, it was possible to set different residence times without compromising the quality of drying process.
